This course will teach skills and techniques to embrace assertiveness in the work environment, enabling delegates to achieve more positive results.

The course is aimed at those who would like to be more effective at making requests of others, increase their confidence in saying ‘no’ to unreasonable demands, and improve self-confidence.

Course Content

This one-day course will cover the following topics; understanding assertive behaviour, tools and techniques to develop confidence, handling challenging situations and people, communication skills, assertiveness and body language, and planning personal strategy.

Outcomes

Candidates will become more confident and effective at making requests, achieving positive outcomes, and improving levels of assertiveness.
