Appraisal Training for Personal Development
This 1/2 day course will enable delegates to set up and conduct an appraisal for all direct reports in a structured and professional way.
Staff need to know what good performance looks like and how well they are performing against targets and goals. This course will provide Managers skills to enable them to engage with staff to get the best from them through conducting an effective appraisal.
Course duration is ½ day
Who should attend?
All those who have a responsibility for staff and their development, i.e. Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.
The course will emphasise the benefits of a structured appraisal, and the improvements in productivity and motivation it can bring when managed effectively.
The course will cover the following:
- How to set out an appraisal
- How to conduct an appraisal using role play
- How to set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Measureable, Realistic & Time Phased) objectives and goals
On completion of the course delegates should be able to design and conduct appraisals in a structured and professional manner.
No prior preparation is required.
