Kevin Hithersay

Kevin is an enthusiastic and highly professional member of the Sanctus Training team delivering a full range of health and safety courses including CITB Site Safety Plus, First Aid at Work and Mental Health First Aid.

 

Kevin is a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH) and also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH).

 

Kevin has worked with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) as a Health, Safety and Supervisory Trainer delivering a broad spectrum of health, safety and management courses. Kevin has delivered health and safety training in Punjabi, Portuguese, Polish and Hungarian (with interpreters) at various locations around the country including the Terminal 5 project at Heathrow Airport and delivered training on the Olympic Park (London) during the construction period.

 

Kevin is a recognised NEBOSH examiner for the theory and practical examinations. He is trained in the Observation of Teaching and Learning (OTL) and has been carrying out OTL’s on behalf of his former department, within CITB, to OFSED criteria. Kevin has successfully participated in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the last 16 years with IOSH.

 

During Kevin’s construction career, he has worked on numerous projects including extensive maintenance and refurbishment to new build and demolition projects and has also taken on the role of Planning Supervisor under (CDM 1994 Regs) for demolition projects.
