Service & Maintenance Applications
Expanding delegates knowledge in a number of fields from installation to witnessing compliance, new entrants or existing workers will acquire refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat pump industry specific skills.
Engineers will be able to meet the minimum legal qualification to install, commission, service, maintain, recover and leak check all refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation EC842/2006, additionally have the knowledge, skill and technique to meet best practice standards to braze copper pipework to a certified standard.

Who Should Attend?
New entrants or existing workers who wish to acquire relevant skills and knowledge to pursue or enhance a career in the refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat pump industries.
The course will cover the following topics;
- General considerations
- Design for commission ability and decommissioning
- Installation, service and maintenance applications
- Installation quality assurance
- Witnessing compliance
- Building log book and system handover
Candidates will have an increase knowledge of installation, commissioning, servicing, maintaining, recovering and leak checking of all refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems.
On Successful completion candidates will be awarded a City & Guilds certificate.
