Installation & Service Maintenance
The 3-day course is ideal for new entrants or existing workers. Candidates will acquire the relevant skills and knowledge to pursue and enhance a career in the air-conditioning, heat pump or refrigeration industries.
Engineers will be able to meet the minimum legal qualification to install, commission, service, maintain, recover and leak check all refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation EC842/2006, additionally have the knowledge, skill and technique to meet best practice standards to braze copper pipework to a certified standard.

Who Should Attend?
New entrants or existing workers who wish to acquire relevant skills and knowledge to pursue or enhance a career in the refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat pump industries.
The course will cover the following topics;
- General considerations
- Design for commission ability and decommissioning
- Installation, service and maintenance applications
- Installation quality assurance
- Witnessing compliance
- Building log book and system handover
To expand knowledge in the above applications.
The course is intended to familiarise the delegate with the specific skills required to work within the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry with an in-depth knowledge of the legislation and quality assurance procedures within that industry.
