Objectives

To understand the principles of Change Management and Continuous Improvement, how both subjects support each other in an ever-changing working environment, and how a successful implementation leads to a more efficient and effective workplace.

Who should attend?

Managers and Supervisors who are required to introduce new processes and or systems which will affect the operation of the business.

Course Content

The course will look at how Change Management and Continuous Improvement can lead to a better working environment. The morning session will focus on Change Management, setting out why people are resistant to change and how best to manage this scenario. The afternoon session will look at Continuous Improvement and how the use of good management tools can help to embed changes and improvements in the business by engaging with all staff.

There are strong links between the two subjects. The course will provide delegates with knowledge on both process and people change.

Outcomes

On completion of the course, delegates should have a greater understanding of the principles of Change Management and Continuous Improvement, and how they can be utilised in a positive way to bring about the desired change where and when required.

Delegate Preparation

There is no requirement for delegates to have any previous knowledge of the subject. However, suggestions as to what could be improved or changed within the business would be useful to use as working examples.
