Who Should Attend?

This Construction Design Management seminar is suitable for senior managers, clients, coordinators, principal contractors and contractors.

Course Content:

The seminar will concentrate on the changes made by the 2015 Regulations and the resulting culture change. The specific responsibilities of the key duty holders will be indicated including the client, principal contractor, other contractors and the newly introduced Principal Designer. Delegates will be made aware of the need for good communication between contractors and worker engagement. The assessment of competence of contractors and training needs analysis of own workers will be explored. Delegates will have time to discuss the changes and how they affect the management protocols on-site.

Outcomes:

Delegates will gain knowledge of the Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations.

Delegate Preparation:

There are no set entry requirements for this update. However, underpinning knowledge of previous CDM Regulations would be advantageous.
