FUNDING FOR NVQ's!!

Funding for a first level 2 is fully funded and currently you can get 50% co-funding for a second level 2 - if the qualification is on the repeat list (please see SFA website for details: http://skillsfundingagency.bis.gov.uk/).

Categories of plant are units of a QCF - so the first category of plant would be the first QCF (provided that no other level 2 has been completed). Subsequent categories of plant would be charged.

The candidate should not be in possession of a prior level 2; such as 5 A - C GCSE's, 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level.

Some Vocational Qualification are equivalent to a level 2 academic qualification.

The candidate has to live in England and have been resident for more than 3 years. This also applies to individuals from the EU who live and work in England.
